Friends of Moorside School
(FOMS)
What do we do?
We organise fun events and activities to raise money for our school! We have been able to reduce the cost of school trips, fund visitors to school and help to provide new facilities and resources to help the children to enjoy learning with memorable experiences.
Who are we?
We are you! Mums, Dads, Carers, Grandparents and teachers of course! Our Friends of Moorside School are currently a very small but dedicated team of volunteers… we always appreciate ideas and support from our school community and the wider Ripon community.
Why Help?
To ensure our children have the best possible opportunities to help them learn, play and make new friends. You can help by just doing one of the following:
- Donate raffle prizes
- Judge a picture competition
- Help run one of the stalls at one of our fayres
- Bake cakes for one of our cake stalls
- Sell cakes one afternoon at school pick-up time
- Serve drinks and cakes at a disco
